Summary, etc. An efficient and concise synthetic route was designed based on 5,7-dihydroxy-3-(4-hydroxybenzyl)-6,8-dimethylchroman-4-one, an important active ingredient extracted from <em>PolygonatumOdoratum</em> (Mill.) Druc. In this regard, spectroscopic techniques such as <sup>1</sup>H and <sup>13</sup>C NMR and high-resolution mass spectrometry (HRMS) were also performed to confirm the final structure. Also, microinfrared spectroscopy and micro-Raman spectroscopy were performed to further determine the structure of the compound.
