| Abstract | This article describes the development of a GIS tool GRAM++ (Geo Referenced Area management) using object oriented methodology. The package has all intrinsic functional capabilities to edit, handle and analyze spatial, nonspatial and remote sensing data and works on Windows95, 98 and NT platforms. Taking advantage of the modular nature of the package, different functions of GRAM++ have been bundled with customized features to develop separate tools for meeting specific end-user needs. GRAM++ Suite comprises of GRAM++ package, Data Preparation Tool, Raster Analysis Kit, Vec-Viewer, MapEditLite and Mapping Control Tools. In addition a CD-Rom based self training generate GIS Tutor has also been developed. |
