The utility of the Differential Hub Gene Analysis (DHGA) approach in Gene Co-expression Networks (GCNs) was tested on salinity, cold stresses in rice and AI stress in soybean. A new Trend Impact Analysis (TIA) method has been developed by combining conventional TIA with time series invention model. Traditional invention model has been reoriented to incorporate three impact parameters for any number of events in order to blend it with TIA. A formula for estimating slope parameter has also been derived and a SAS micro has been developed to implement the proposed approach. An attempt is made to establish the potential performance of wavelet based combinatory model as a proficient alternative to the traditional statistical approaches. The combinatory of wavelet-GARCH hybrid model has been found to outperform the individual ARIMA and GARCH model applied to analyze and evaluate monthly potato price data of three markets Haldwani, Agra and Lucknow of Uttar Pradesh. It is observed that wavelet-GARCH produces gives the best result over the other methods in terms of RMAPE (%) and RMSPE. Not Available |
