According 18th Livestock Census (2007), there were 140.53 million goats in India which contributed about 13.30 and 3.77 % to the total meat and milk production in the country, respectively. Study revealed that the severity of the non-institutional constraints was more as the arid and semi arid areas are prone to these constraints. |
