SOIL INFITRABILITY WAS INVESTIGATED IN DIFFERENT LAND USE SYSTEMS VIZ EUCALYPTUS , BHABAR , EUCALYPTUS+ BHABAR, EUCALYPTUS + VETIVER AND CULTIVATED CROPLAND. EUCALYPTUS AND BHABAR PLOTS SHOWED DRASTIC REDUCTION IN INFILTRABILITY THAN OTHER SYSTEMS. CUMULATIVE INFILTRATION SORPTIVITY AND SOIL MOISTURE ( 90-120 CM) APPEARED IMPORTANT DISCRIMINATORS OF DIFFERENT LAND USE SYSTEMS. ON THE BASIS OF INVESTIGATED PARAMETERS, EUCALYPTUS + BHABAR SYSTEM APPEARED TO BE SUSTAINABLE IN THE REGION AS FAR AS INSITU WATER HARVESTING IS CONCERNED. Not Available |
