An experiment on biology of brown planthopper (BFR) was carried out in the screen house Choudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University Rice Research Station, Kaul. Kaithal haryana during Khanf 2012 The maximum (89.35%) eggs were laid on leaf sheath of plant followed by (7.15%) and stem (3.66%). The eggs hatched in 6-10 days with an average of 9.610.24 days.
