Green revolution in India has immensely contributed in enhancing the crop productivity but not always with sustainable production. As excessive use of chemical pesticides is deleterious to the environment, microorganisms as biopesticides is emerging as a potential alternative for eco-friendly and sustainable plant protection.Carrier based solid biopesticide formulations have already proved their efficacy equivalent to chemicals. Rectifying the disadvantages of the solid formulations, liquid biopesticide formulations are emerging as the way forward for cost effective, eco-friendly and sustainable agriculture. Not Available |
