The treatment with carbofur:rn CaJ lkg a.iiha in nL1rser1 beds and in fields, 40 days after transplantation rcdu-ccd total popu!ation of plant prnsitfc nematodes in soil by up to 23.5% from initial levels and increased to yield by 27.6%. Deep summer ploughing also reduced the population by 36.9% and increased the yield by 23.3%.
