During 1 January - 28 February 2018, the country as a whole has received 15.4 mm rainfall, which is 63% deficit, compared to the normal rainfall for the same period (41.4 mm). Out of 36 meteorological sub-divisions, rainfall was large excess in one meteorological sub-division; normal in 2; deficient in 10 and largely deficient in 22 subdivisions.
