During 1January -22 February 2017, the country as a whole has received 37.9 mm rainfall, which is 5% more, compared to the normal rainfall for the same period (36.1 mm). Out of 36 meteorological subdivisions, rainfall was largely excess in 62 districts under 15 subdivisions; excess in 37 districts under 13 subdivisions; normal in 64 districts of 14subdivisions; deficient in 94 districts of 18 subdivisions and largely deficient in 159 districts under 23 subdivisions.
