To study the effect of tannin containing feeds on gastrointestinal parasites, 15 male calves (84 kg) were divided randomly into three equal groups. Control group calves were fed on concentrate and wheat straw, whereas, experimental group calves received oak leaves at 33 or 50% of roughage for four weeks. The amount of condensed tannins consumed in experimental group 1 and 2 were 0.29 and 0.37% of DM, respectively.
