The study aimed de-novo transcriptome analysis during saline stress in halophytic plant, Urochondra setulosa. Sequencing for 150 bp length paired-end (PE) reads was performed in an Illumina HiSeq sequencer to produce on an average of 45.01 million raw sequencing reads (for control and stress samples). The transcriptome was studied for differential gene expression analyses between stress treatment and control sample. Overall design: Leaves of halophyte, Urochondra were harvested at vegetative stage subjected to control (normal water) and saline treatments. Total RNA isolated from these samples was subjected to Illumina sequencing. The raw data generated was checked for the quality using FastQC and pre processed with Cutadapt. DESeq was used for differential expression calculation. ICAR-NASF, New Delhi |
