The present study was conductd to evaluate the effect of Leucas aspera and Hemidesmus indicus to reduce the toxic effects of aflatoxin in broiler chickens. Day-old male chicks were fed with basal diet free of afltoxin; L.aspera and H.indicus (1.0%) (in the ratio of 1:1 and 2:1) upto 42 days of age. Birds fed aflatoxin exhibited altered serum biochemical parameters and supplementation of L.aspera and H.indicus reduced the changes induced by alfatoxin. Addition of L.aspera and H.indicus did not affect the parameters studied. Not Available |
