Native birds are considered for cross breeding to develop thermal tolerance and free range
varieties to address the adverse climatic conditions and welfare issues respectively. The
present study was conducted to assess the performance of two Indigenous breeds Aseel
and Kadaknath under hot and humid conditions. The two indigenous breeds were studied
for various performance parameters for a period of 12 weeks under standard
