Malpura and Kheri ewes (34), 3–4 years old, in their late gestation and weighing 36.12±2.63 kg were randomly selected and divided into two groups of 24 (G1) and 10 (G2). Ewes in both the group were grazed on rangeland from 07.00 to 18.00 h followed by night shelter in animal shed. The ewes in G1, in addition to grazing received concentrate mixture (@ 350 g/ewe/day) during entire late gestation to early lactation.
