Cladobotryum dendroides made is appearance as white fluffy mycelia over the beds and fruit bodies of oyster mushroom. Spring water was the best for the germination of C.dendroides spores giving 50 per cent germination after 28 hours followed by rain water (43%), tap water (42%), sterlized (35%) and distilled water (18%). Bavistin and sporgon gave cent per cent inhibition of the mycelial growth of C.dendroides at all the concentrations tried. Addition of all the plant prdoucts was more effective in inhibiting the mycelial growth of C. dendroides after sterilization as compared to their addition before sterilization.
