French Bean is an important legume vegetable grown for its tender, green pods for both for fresh consumption and proceeding. Breeding lines with resistance to rust were selected for F2 generation onwords. these were advanced upto F7, wherein, a promising line, (Arka Bold*Arka Komal) 99-17-2-1-4-12-3, with resistant to rust with high pod yield and quality selected and named Arka Anoop and released for commercial cultivation.
