Comparative results of all the above three conditions indicated that variable response of biocontrol on these vegetables was due to sterilized and unsterilized soil where inherent microbial status of the unsterilized soil is responsible for this differential behaviour. It was also concluded that potentiality of different biocontrol agents varied from crop to crop where seed texture, seedmycoflora and seed pathogen might be additionally responsible for this variability. Variable results of different biocontrol in these set of soil condition was due to physico-chemical conditions and the inherent microbial status of the soil, strong buffering capacity of soil as well as externally added soil pathogens.
