An experiment was undertaken to find out the effect of irrigation and nitrogen on passion fruit var. Purple with five levels of irrigation and three levels of nitrogen dose. Irrigation at 12 days interval recorded higher growth and fruit yield which was at par with plants irrigated at 18 days interval. Maximum number of fruits per plant, fruit weight, fruit yield and total soluble solids were recorded with the application of 150 kg N/ha which was at par with 100 kg N/ha. In terms of production, maximum yield (8.56 t/ha) was recorded with the application of 150 kg N/ha and irrigation at 18 days interval; followed by 150 kg N/ha and irrigation at 12 days interval (7.56 t/ha) and 100 kg N/ha and irrigation at 24 days interval (7.54 t/ha). However, the values are statistically insignificant. Considering all the parameters, the study indicated that irrigation at 18 days interval along with 150 kg N/ha would be helpful for improving the growth, yield and quality of passion fruit under foothill condition of Manipur
