Yesterday, widespread rainfall (>75% places) received in 8 sub-divisions viz., Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, East Rajasthan, Gujarat, Saurashtra & Kutch, Konkan & Goa, Rayalaseema and Coastal Karnataka. The cumulative rainfall status since 01-June-2020 is still deficient in 42 districts of East & Northeast India, 87 districts in Northwest India, 12 districts in Central India and 5 districts in South Peninsular India.
