A fresh Western Disturbance is very likely to affect Western Himalayan Region from the night of 05th March and adjoining plains of Northwest India from the night of 06th March. Under its influence: (i) Fairly widespread to widespread rainfall/snowfall very likely over Western Himalayan Region during 06th-07th March. (ii) Isolated light rain/drizzle very likely over Punjab on 06th & 07th and over Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi and West Uttar Pradesh on 07th March. (iii) Isolated heavy rainfall/snowfall very likely over Jammu, Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan & Muzaffarabad on 06th & 07th and over Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand on 07th March. (iv) Thunderstorm with lightning & hail very likely at isolated places over Jammu, Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan & Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand on 06 & 07th March. (v) Thunderstorm with lightning & hail very likely at isolated places over Punjab and north Haryana & Chandigarh and thunderstorm with lightning at isolated places over West Uttar Pradesh on 07th March. Scattered to fairly widespread rainfall very likely over Arunachal Pradesh and isolated to scattered rainfall over Assam & Meghalaya with thunderstorm/lightning during 03rd-06th March.
