A 45-day experiment trial was conducted to determine the effect of graded levels of dietary ginger supplementation on growth and nutrient utilization of Cyprinus carpio (Linnaeus; 1758) fingerlings. Fishes of uniform size (average weight 6.0-6.5 g) were divided into six experimental groups in triplicates following completely randomized design (CRD). Six diets having ginger concentration Control T1 (0%), T2 (0.2%), T3 (0.4%), T4 (0.6%), T5 (0.8%), T6 (1%) diet, respectively. The use of this herbs, at 0.8% in diet of koi carps will be an efficient tool to achieve sustainable performance of koi fish and hence increase its production. The result showed that the Zingiber officinale treatment enhances nutrient utilization, which is reflected in improved weight gain, the Specific growth rate (SGR), Protein efficiency ratio (PER), and Feed efficiency ratio (FER).
