Castor (Ricinus communis), groundnut, karanj (Pongamia glabra [P. pinnata]) and neem oilseed cakes at 1.0 ton/ha in single applications and 0.5 ton/ha in combined applications and carbofuran at 2 kg/ha in single applications and 1 kg/ha in combined treatments were evaluated for control of Meloidogyne incognita on okras in India. Plots treated with karanj cake, neem cake, carbofuran and groundnut cake + carbofuran gave significantly higher okra fruit yield compared to controls. All treatments significantly reduced the root gall index. Not Available |
