Yesterday, six subdivisions viz., Arunachal Pradesh, Assam & Meghalaya, Sub‐Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim, Bihar, Konkan & Goa and Coastal Karnataka received wide spread rainfall (>75% places) and due to this, the rainfall status of the country as a whole has improved from ‐36% to ‐35%.
