Yesterday, nine sub-divisions viz., Assam & Meghalaya, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal Sikkim, Saurashtra & Kutch, Konkan & Goa, Marathwada, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Rayalaseema and Coastal Karnataka received widespread rainfall (>75% places). The cumulative rainfall status since 01-June-2020 is deficient in 7 sub-divisions viz., Nagaland-Manipur-Mizoram-Tripura, West Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Gujarat and Kerala as on 01-July-2020.
