Yesterday, widespread rainfall (>75% places) received in 13 sub-divisions viz., Assam & Meghalaya, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim, Jharkhand, Odisha, East Madhya Pradesh, Konkan & Goa, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana,, Rayalaseema, Coastal Karnataka and North Interior Karnataka. The cumulative rainfall status since 01-June-2020 is large deficient in Jammu & Kashmir and deficient in 6 sub-divisions viz., NMMT, West Uttar Pardesh, Himachal Pradesh, Gujarat, East Rajasthan and Kerala due to the sub-dued rainfall during last two weeks.
