Yesterday, widespread rainfall (>75% places) received in 114 districts in East & Northeast India, 91 districts in Northwest India, 45 districts in Central India and 55 districts in South Peninsular India alltogether comprising 39% geographical area of the country and due to this the cumulative rainfall status since 01-Jun-2020 for the country as a whole has improved from +6% to +7%. The cumulative rainfall status since 01-Jun-2020 has improved from normal to excess in Punjab (from +8% to +20%) due to the receipt of wide spread rainfall yesterday. Not Available |
