Yesterday, 16 out of 36 meteorological sub-divisions distributed over East & Northeast India, Central India and South Peninsular India received widespread (>75% places) rainfall. All the sub-divisions in Northwest India received below normal rainfall yesterday and due to this the cumulative rainfall status since 01-June-2020 of the country as a whole has reduced from +6% to +5%.
