Yesterday, widespread rainfall (>75% places) received in all the sub-divisions of East & Northeast India, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamilnadu, Karnataka and Kerala and due to this the cumulative rainfall status since 01-June-2020 of the country as a whole has improved from 0% to +1%. The cumulative rainfall ststus since 01-June-2020 is deficient in 40 districts in East & Northeast India, 120 districts in Northwest India, 59 districts in Central India and 15 districts in South Peninsular India.
