Yesterday, widespread rainfall (>75% places) received in 18 sub-divisions viz., Arunachal Pradesh, Assam & Meghalaya, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim, Bihar, West Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, West Madhya Pradesh, Konkan & Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Rayalaseema, Coastal Karnataka, North Interior Karnataka, South Interior Karnataka and Kerala. The cumulative rainfall status since 01-June-2020 is stiil deficient in 7 meteorological subdivisions viz, Nagaland-Manipur-Mizoram-Tripura, West Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, East Rajasthan, Gujarat and Kerala.
