Yesterday, widespread rainfall (>75% places) received in 15 sub-divisions viz., Arunachal Pradesh, Assam & Meghalaya, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, East Rajasthan, West Madhya Pradesh, East Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Konkan & Goa, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Coastal Karnataka, South Interior Karnataka and Kerala. The cumulative rainfall status since 01-June-2020 is still deficient in 43 districts of East & Northeast India, 121 districts in Northwest India, 57 districts in Central India and 4 districts in South Peninsular India.
