Yesterday, widespread rainfall (>75% places) received in 15 sub-divisions viz., Arunacha Pradesh, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh East Rajasthan, Gujarat, Konkan & Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Vidarbha Chhattisgarh, Telangana, Coastal Karnataka and Kerala. The cumulative rainfall status since 01-June-2020 is still deficient in 43 districts of East & Northeast India, 121 districts in Northwest India, 57 districts in Central India and 4 district in South Peninsular India.
