Yesterday, widespread rainfall (>75% places) received in 18 sub-divisions viz., Arunachal Pradesh, Assam & Meghalaya, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim, Jharkhand, Uttarakhand, Jammu & Kashmir, East Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Saurashtra & Kutch, Konkan & Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, Coastal Karnataka , North Interior Karnataka and South Interior Karnataka. The cumulative rainfall status since 01-June-2020 is still deficient in 40 districts of East & Northeast India, 98 districts in Northwest India, 29 districts in Central India and 3 districts in South Peninsular India.
