Yesterday, widespread rainfall (>75% places) received in 13 sub-divisions viz., Gangetic West Bengal, West Uttar Pradesh, East Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, East Rajasthan, Odisha, East Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Saurashtra & Kutch, Konkan & Goa, Chhattisgarh, Telangana and Coastal Karnataka. Due to this the cumulative rainfall status of the country as a whole has improved from +4% to +5%. The cumulative rainfall status since 01-June-2020 is still deficient in 41 districts of East & Northeast India, 98 districts in Northwest India, 23 districts in Central India and 4 districts in South Peninsular India Not Available |
