Yesterday, widespread rainfall (>75% places) received in 5 sub-divisions viz., Uttarakhand, West Rajasthan, Gujarat, Saurashtra & Kutch and Konkan & Goa. Due to the below normal rainfall yesterday in 27 out of 36 meteorological subdivisions, the cumulative rainfall status since 01-June-2020 of the country as a whole has decreased from +8% to +7%.
