Yesterday, widespread rainfall (>75% places) received in 7 sub-divisions viz., Assam & Meghalaya, NMMT (Nagaland-Manipur-Mizoram-Tripura), West Rajasthan, Gujarat, Konkan & Goa, Tamilnadu and South Interior Karnataka. Due to the below normal rainfall yesterday in 26 out of 36 meteorological subdivisions, the cumulative rainfall status since 01-June-2020 of the country as a whole has decreased from +10% to +9%.
