Yesterday, widespread rainfall (>75% places) received in 7 sub-divisions viz., Assam & Meghayala, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim, Gangetic West Bengal, East Rajasthan, Marathwada, Rayalaseema and Kerala. The cumulative rainfall status since 01-June-2020 is still deficient in 50 districts of East & Northeast India, 82 districts in Northwest India, 12 districts in Central India and 5 districts in South Peninsular India.
