Yesterday, widespread rainfall (>75% places) received in 14 sub-divisions viz., SubHimalayan West Bengal & Sikkim, Odisha, Gujarat, Saurashtra & Kutch, Konkan & Goa, Marathwada, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Coastal Karnataka , North Interior Karnataka, South Interior Karnataka and Kerala. The cumulative rainfall status since 01-June-2020 is still deficient in 48 districts of East & Northeast India, 109 districts in Northwest India, 17 districts in Central India and 4 districts in South Peninsular India.
