Yesterday, widespread rainfall (>75% places) received in 16 sub-divisions viz., Arunachal Pradesh, Assam & Meghalaya, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim, NMMT (Nagaland-Manipur-Mizoram-Tripura), Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, Bihar, Odisha, Gujarat, Konkan & Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Coastal Karnataka and Kerala. The cumulative rainfall status since 01-June-2020 of the country as a whole has improved from +7% o +8% due to receipt of above normal rainfall in 20 out of 36 meteorological sub-divisions yesterday.
