Yesterday, widespread rainfall (>75% places) received in 7 sub-divisions viz., Arunachal Pradesh, Assam & Meghalaya, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim, NMMT (Nagaland-Manipur-Mizoram-Tripura), Gangetic West Bengal, Bihar and North Interior Karnataka. The cumulative rainfall status since 01-June-2020 is still deficient in 41 districts of East & Northeast India, 104 districts in Northwest India, 15 districts in Central India and 5 districts in South Peninsular India.
