The withdrawal line of the Southwest Monsoon continues to pass through Lat. 28°N/Long.83°E, Faizabad, Fatehpur, Nowgong, Rajgarh, Ratlam, Vallabh Vidyanagar, Porbandar, Lat. 21°N/ Long.65°E and Lat. 21°N/ Long.60°. • A Well Marked Low Pressure Area lies over Eastcentral Arabian Sea off north Maharashtra coast with associated cyclonic circulation extending upto midtropospheric levels. It is very likely to move west-northwestwards and concentrate into a Depression over Eastcentral & adjoining Northeast Arabian Sea off north Maharashtra-south Gujarat coasts during next 24 hours. • Under the influence of the above system, the following adverse weather is likely: (i) Heavy rainfall at isolated places is very likely to occur over Konkan & Goa on 16th and over coastal districts of south Gujarat on 16th & 17th October, 2020. (ii) Fishermen are advised not to venture into the Sea along & off Maharashtrasouth Gujarat coasts and over Eastcentral & adjoining Northeast Arabian sea during next 3 days. • A fresh Low pressure area likely to form over central Bay of Bengal around 19th October. It is likely to become more marked during subsequent 24 hours. Under its influence, heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely at isolated place over Odisha and Coastal Andhra Pradesh and heavy rainfall at isolated places over the rest of the east peninsular coast of India during 18th-19th October, 2020.
