Yesterday, Southwest Monsoon has further advanced into some more parts of Rajasthan, remaining parts of Uttar Pradesh and Himachal Pradesh, entire Delhi, some parts of Haryana and most parts of Punjab. • The Northern Limit of Monsoon (NLM) continue to pass through Lat. 27°N/Long. 68°E, Nagaur, Alwar, Delhi, Karnal and Firozepur. • The trough at mean sea level runs from central Pakistan to Bihar across northwest Rajasthan, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh. • Due to shift of trough northwards and convergence of strong southerly/southwesterly winds from Bay of Bengal over northeast & adjoining east India, widespread rainfall with isolated heavy to very heavy rainfall very likely to continue over northeast & adjoining east India during next 3 days. Isolated extremely heavy rainfall is also likely over Bihar and Assam & Meghalaya during 26th-27th June and over Arunachal Pradesh and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim on 26th June, 2020. • Fairly widespread to widespread rainfall with isolated heavy to very heavy rainfall likely over parts of south peninsular India during next 4 days.
