Description e-publication
Energy is the driver of life. Energy has been used by man since the discovery of fire; be it for heat, light or cooking. Energy may be derived from natural flows of air, water, radiation, waves etc., or through mined sources. Through the ages, the use of energy increased, as human population increased and society developed. And the impacts of its use became evident, as it impacted soil, water, biodiversity and warming. Though all energy sources have some impact on our environment, renewable energy is the new trend claimed to be eco-friendly.
