Description The adaptability of mid-late and late group genotypes of cauliflower was studied during three winter seasons under the mid hill conditions of Himachal Pradesh. The stability parameters, viz regression coefficient (b), mean square deviation (S2d) from linear regression and Hanson's stability (D) value, along with the performance of genotypes for net curd weight, gross weight, curd size index and curd solidity were studied. There was a significant variation amongst the genotypes for all the characters studied and the environments over the years were also significantly di fferent to each other. Both linear as well as non-linear genotype x environmental interactions were found to be significant. The genotypes 'KT (D) value, along with the performance of genotypes for"net curd weight, gross weight, curd size index and curd solidity were studied. There was a significant variation amongst the genotypes for all the characters studied and the environments over the years were also significantly different to each other. Both linear as well as non-linear genotype x environmental interactions were found to be significant. The genotypes 'KT 9', 'Ee 162587', 'KJ 38' and 'KM I' were found to be the hest performers as per the stability parameters, under the prevailing conditions for all the characters studied.
