Description Forty-nine samples of B. cockerelli DNA extraction purifications were sent for sequencing in both directions (Forward and Reverse), making a total of 98 reactions. Of these, only 48 were of good quality to be considered in the analysis.
The 46 sequences are from B.cockerelli individuals from fields in the province of Huancabamba and two sequences from individuals from B.cockerelli colonies from CIP-Ecuador, included in the trial as positive controls for the potato psyllid.
Through sequence analysis, it was determined that the 48 sequences under study turned out to be identical to each other, obtaining lengths of 460 nucleotides. Based on the BLAST query, the 48 consensus sequences were found to have 100% similarity to the JQ708094 sequence belonging to the core haplotype.
