Six specimens of the Rock shrimp Sicyonia parajaponica Crosnier, 2003 was landed at Sakthikulangara fishing harbour , Kollam. This is the first record from Indian EEZ.This species has been previously reported from Taiwan Sea, South China, Philippines, the northwest coast Australia, Andaman Sea in Thailand and Gulf of Aden and are reported at 10 to 200 m depths |
