Sidi’ is a Primitive Tribal community in Gujarat, having their ancestral lineage to Africa, residing mainly in the Talala and Veraval Talukas of Junagadh Distrct. The CMFRI, through the Regional Centre, Veraval has taken up the "Establishment of Sea cage Farm for the Tribals" under the Tribal Sub Plan (TSP) funds of the Institute during 2012-13, as a livelihood development program for the tribal community. |
