Description With the lack of information available
globally on the reproductive biology of Sphyraena
putnamae, the present study was performed using 908
individuals landed along the western Bay of Bengal
from January 2017 to December 2019. Fork length
of sampled fshes ranged from 17.4 to 123.0 cm in
females and 22.2 to 119.0 cm in males, with a mean
length of 41.90±0.63 cm and 39.12±0.71 cm,
