Description |
The continuous assessment of Brachiaria genotypes to spittlebug attack resistance is a major activity within the breeding program of Tropical Forages, allowing the development of superior cultivars at CIAT. In the second semester of 2019 and first semester of 2020, a mass rearing program for Aeneolamia varia was established from adults collected in Darién and Fenicia, Valle del Cauca.
