Description |
The Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR) has published a technical report on its three projects on coconut research and development in Papua New Guinea and the South Pacific. It is based on a survey undertaken as part of the Coconut Improvement Project in Vanuatu, Solomon Islands, Fiji, Tuvalu, Western Samoa, American Samoa and Cook Islands. This 23 page report contains details of current research being undertaken on coconut improvement, descriptions of cultivars (emphasizing fruit analysis) from most of the countries surveyed, and forecasts of marketing trends for coconut products.
